Hi, my name is John and I am a rider and enthusiast from the States. My main interests are the vintage street bikes and cafe racers, but that is just because I haven't really come accross this genre before. What a cool idea to build some race replicas, even if it is not a full replica, these bikes are sweet. I do mostly pre-1978 Honda street bikes like the CB/CL 350 twins and the 350 through 750 SOHCs.
My plan is to start doing some projects and builds and posting them on the web. This looks like a good place to do some posting. Right now I am collecting some bikes to use a project bases. I have picked up a '72 CB350F (all I kept was the rolling chassis, motor, carbs, wiring harness, etc.), I have 2 CB500Ks plus another titled frame, a '71 CL350 slash cafe-rat bike that is my daily rider and this weekend I'll pick up a '74 CB360. All of these are projects, but with a good supply of earlier Honda spares, and new parts I should be able to get a few going. I'll be lurking around the other threads as there are alot of nice bikes and good ideas here. Thanks to Dan for letting me know about this site.

Good to have you here John. I look forward to seeing your projects, but if you need some race replica inspiration, check out the pictures in the RetroRaceReps area of the forum. _________________ www.od-racing.co.uk

I was looking last night. There is a beautiful 750 SOHC tucked in with many others. |

Well spotted John. Does that give you any ideas for your Hondas. It would be nice to see some pictures of your bikes on this site. _________________ www.od-racing.co.uk
