A Track Day is to be held at RAF Coltishall, near Norwich, at the end of August. It will be open to bikes and cars. I will have the full details later, but there will be 3.5 miles of smooth tarmac/concrete to play on; there will be safety marshals, fire and medical cover and space for anyone wanting to man up an autojumble table (and for the obligatory burger van no doubt). The pits will be inside one of the main aircraft hangars. Cost will be £60 per day, all of which will be passed on to local charities. Stack this against a price of up to £100+ for Snetterton or the like, and it looks very good value and a good day out. Classics and modern bikes will be catered for and race machinery welcome (although to parade/test, not race).
